Monitoring Policies

Monitoring policies are the sets of rules defining events which need to be monitored and whose data that should be collected for later reporting.

One node can be assigned to multiple policies; it can also have its own policy defined that may override map or atlas policy definitions.

Dynamic vs. Static Policies

Dynamic policies are based on dynamic network views - the program automatically assigns nodes to a particular monitoring policy if they fit the defined criteria (i.e. Windows System, switch model). Static policies can be simply managed by dragging & dropping nodes.

Built-in Monitoring Policies

Program ships with number of predefined monitoring policies.
